Leicester ConCensus Workshop
Invitation to the Leicester ConCensus workshop on Friday 8th of March
The Council of Citizen Engagement in Sustainable Urban Strategies (Concensus) is an initiative within an EU project in Leicester City Council. It is a great opportunity for you to represent citizens in local decision making.
You are invited to join a project workshop to discuss the topic of “Your River” and ideas for what could happen to the River Soar (and its tributaries) which passes through Leicester. Suggestions could be for better access more attractive areas, reduce the amount of litter and plastic waste along its banks, and increase leisure facilities along the river. The social platform will be utilised in order for you to submit your views.
This will also provide an opportunity to evaluate the social use of the Leicester Water Community website and provide new suggestions.
